24-Hour Live Telephone Answering
Calls can be answered live at all times, or our Call Screening System can inform your callers of your office hours and the best time to reach the office directly. Any caller needing the pediatrician, or physician, for an urgent need would simply stay on the line or press "0" to be connected to our staff. That call would then be dispatched to the on-call doctor.
Dispatching of Messages
Each urgent call is dispatched by our staff before they can connect with another caller. This ensures urgent calls are dispatched to the doctor without delay and that your escalation procedures are followed as dictated by each physician.
Calls are sent via 2-way messaging to all iPhone and Android devices as needed. Each message can be confirmed with a simple text back to our call center.
Newborns / Consults / Roundings
All messages meeting specific criteria will be dispatched to the physician or pediatrician at the time needed. Many of our pediatric clients prefer to have these messages sent to them at 6:00 am.
We are dedicated to working with you as a team to get your account setup and programmed as needed.
On-Call Information
All on-call information is not only typed in our computer system but also handwritten in our coverage book to help eliminate mistakes.
Call Patching
Any call can be patched directly to your home, office, or cell phone without the worry of Caller ID or *69 redial. Problem callers will never have the opportunity of getting your telephone number at Answermed Telecom Inc, ever.
Voice-Mail / Faxing or Messages and Appointment Setting
We offer a full range of voicemail, fax, email and text services which provide your staff with a variety of ways of picking up messages and screening your calls.
